I'm debating between the BMP and the EVO tunes and just thought I'd ask y'all what you thought before pulling the trigger.

Anyone have any input on their preference and why?

Black Diamond Xtreme Ecu Reflash

I just bought a 2017 rzr 1000 turbo and was looking to do ecu reflash. My last one was done by Alba racing but was checking all options and found a place called BD-Xtreme (Black Diamond Xtreme). They charge $350 to reflash ecu and claim 30+ on stage 1 flash for 91 octane.

Has anyone used this company? Or heard of them?

I have the stage 1 REV1 SuperATV flash on my 15 XP1000. I called today to see if i could run a slip on with it since it is a 2015 with the 02 sensor as i will be eliminating the cat... The kid of the phone was absolutely CLUELESS and he said he asked the guy that tunes them there and he said it should be ok. If not they can flash me to their stage 2.. :rm_thumbdown:

Although i am happy with the "canned tune flash" as i did see nice gains on my 100% stock machine, which im sure most of it is the limiters in the 15.. to me this is totally unacceptable to NOT know what ur flashes do... Especially as a tuner myself of full scale cars of 20 years! Leads me to believe they don't make these tunes in house. Pretty disappointing call today to SuperATV be honest. They were very close so i thought what the heck ill drive up there real quick get a flash and give em a try until i can figure out what software i want to run on it to tune/mess around with myself. I'm in the process of moving, bought a new place etc so thought this would be ok and convenient for the time being. Now im wondering if i should have just went with someone else that actually knows their product!!

Does anyone have the answer to this as im not sure im ever going to get a straight answer from SuperATV.... Heck at this point im not sure if they even know the answer! :rollfinger:

I was going to send my 2017 rzr turbo ecu off to have it reflashed but ran across the dynojet cx tuner and/or the bully dog tuner.

Any inpute to help me please (pros and cons welcome)

Hey all,
I'm a longtime lurker and finally joined. This forum is a good source of information. I recently purchased a RZR 1000 S and installed the HMF true dual exhaust. My RZR apparently is one of the few that has a factory O2 sensor. The HMF exhaust has an 18mm bung and I was instructed by RVS to use the factory sensor if its present on my machine with their Stage 2 ECU flash.

The problem I have is, even though I got a 12mm to 18mm adapter to fit the OEM sensor into the exhaust, the location is different and the harness is too short to reach the sensor. I can't find an O2 sensor extension for the RZR either.

Any help? RVS said to run the sensor but I don't know how it is used in their reflashed Stage 2 ECU tune. Any advice is appreciated.

I have 13 XP900 with polaris stage 2 kit, SLP exhaust, Stage 2 programming, and dragon fire intake. I am wondering if there will be compatibility issue with programming and the power commander. Will i feel any gains by adding this?

I have a 1000 with a OSP turbo kit. Started tunning last night and I'm having a issue with it pulling timing on the big end. I'm running e85, areomotive pump ID 2000 injectors, with the AEM infinity Ecu. Was wondering if there is any base maps out there? Or if anyone has had the same issue.

Mildly built 900, w/PC5, when I 1st fire up cold it only runs on 1 cyl. need to give it throttle until it'll pick up the other cyl! Any ideas?

Does anyone recommend one over the other for overall performance gains with real world experience? It looks like they both do about the same thing, just curious who likes which better and why. My car is a 14 xp1k, all stock and mostly ride the dunes. Thanks

Has anybody tried switching the ECU from a 11+ 800 into an 08-10 800 ? I know the engines are different, but wondered if they are different enough that would make a difference ?? I recently saw a post on facebook that a claims he put a 2012 800 S ECU in an early model 50" and it made the machine basically run like a scolded dog. I would have thought that if it was possible, one of the engine guru's would have figured this out by now.

Hi people.

I'm looking for a DW alternative for EFI RZRs troubleshooting (live data and sensors signals). The idea here is a cable modification, like the PU-47469/CAN cable => Smartlink module and the OBD2 ELM327 Wifi adaptors (eBay ones).

I need some options/opinions/viewpoints here.

Lost Throttle Pedal (or what to do if you have a wet PPS)?

This weekend a fried lost his throttle pedal on a heavy muddy/wet trail.
The PPS (pedal position sensor) stopped working and the car didn't had any throttle at all.

I've seen that the CanAm Maverick 1000R has a Limp-Mode/Home when the PPS is lost, just press a button on the console
and the engine slowly increases the RPM (like an electronic pedal).

Does the Polaris ECU/Firmware has such Limp-Home function, looking into mine RZR900S maintenance guide, I wasnt capable to locate or identify such Limp-Home feature, does it have it or not?

I have a 2010 rzr 800 with a mcx turbo setup. So it has been dropping to 700-900rpms at idle and missing very badly when I hit the throttle. My afr has been running between 10-11.5. So I probe the tps and it's at .78 with key on engine off. I back it down to .73 and the idle returns to 1250 but my afr jumps to 17.0! I move to .75 and the idle goes back to 900 rpm but my idle afr goes back to 10-11. What am I missing here?

While riding yesterday my machine started missing and eventually shut off and had to be towed out of the woods.
Several codes popped up

With a quick Google search it shows a low voltage on every code at some point. My question is, could this be a simple battery fix? Or could it possibly be a bad TPS? I was hoping someone has had the same issues as me and could she'd light on the situation. Thanks for any imput.

I just received my dynojet pvcx wich i ordered like 2 months ago.
I hooked it up, install the sofware and tried to update the tuner and after the update completed it wont power up anymore !!! Wtf !!
Please tell me there is hope !!
I already waited enough for this piece..

Rzr 800s Idle problems

I have a 2009 Rzr 800s and when the fan kicks on the engine stumbles then stalls out... From what I've been able to determine one possible cause of this is a dirty T-map which doesn't tolerate very well an aftermarket foam-oil type air filter...I've now switched to a OEM filter element...

My question is whether I can simply replace the t-map device (sold on ebay) without having to do any kind of reprogramming, which would likely be beyond my skill and tool set, and what is involved to do this??

I just picked up a mcx turbo kit with the gen 5 fuel controller. It didn't come with the cable or software to perform any data logging or tuning if it is needed. After e- mailing MCX.se I found I can order the bluetooth module with a wideband Bosch oxygen sensor and software from if I need it though for 475 shipped. This would give me a wideband o2 and a source to use for data logging.

I've also been looking at the AEM Infinity ECU. It seems this is a true race setup which wouldn't have the speed limit restrictions of the OEM ECU which I want removed, as well as 100's of other tuning options. Would this be a better setup to run?
Is it worth the additional cost to setup to a standalone ECU? I running alot of trails with some mud and plan to enter a local race series in the future if my schedule allows.

I currently have a dobeck AFR+ that worked great ince tuned. I could run this after the Mcx gen 5 to allow for on the fly fine tuning as well from what I have learned.

The bike in question is a 2015 1000xp desert edition.
